The International Tennis Centre
It all began with a legendary story that came to life in 1973 thanks to Pierre Barthès, founder of one of the largest and most renowned tennis centres in Europe. Major events such as the National Tennis Championships, the Carré d'As tournaments featuring Borg, Vilas, Noah, Connors and McEnroe, and the Trophée de la Femme en Forme have all contributed to its reputation.
Located in the heart of Cap d’Agde, nestled within a stunning pine forest, just a 400-metre walk from the sea, the International Tennis Centre is a premier venue for competition, education and training, managed since… by the French Touch Academy, a leading French training institution and specialist in tennis and padel courses. It supports the young hopefuls of French tennis and welcomes young people from all over the world who come to follow specific, personalised training programmes at this extraordinary tennis centre. See for yourself: 22 outdoor courts, 4 with synthetic grass, 12 Green Set, 6 clay courts, 8 indoor courts including 6 Green Set and 2 clay courts, 3 padel courts, 2 squash courts, 2 badminton courts.
In addition to these sports facilities, there is: 1 swimming pool, 1 fitness room (steppers, rowing machines, elliptical trainers, etc.), 1 clubhouse, 1 pro shop, 1 multi-purpose hall (maximum 30 people) and 1 conference room (98 seats). The International Tennis Centre is a true sports complex for both leisure and high-performance tennis.
