Cap d’Agde is also a popular destination for cycling. Given that it’s the ideal sport for improving your cardio, slimming down, relaxing, getting some fresh air… and discovering beautiful places, there’s no excuse not to get on your bike – plus, it’s an eco-friendly way to get around!
A network of cycle paths, cycle lanes and greenways stretching 135 km criss-crosses our towns and villages for your enjoyment. Come and enjoy lovely rides along our gentle routes, alternating between natural landscapes and the seaside.

For the more adventurous, 21 marked mountain bike trails (orange markings) cover 500 km. Four starting points cover the entire area: Nizas, Montagnac (Domaine de Bessilles), Florensac and Vias. Four levels of difficulty ensure that cyclists of all abilities can find a suitable route: 2 green circuits, 12 blue circuits, 6 red circuits and 1 black circuit.
We’ve thought of everything: you’ll find car parks and service stations for road bikes and mountain bikes, not to mention establishments with the ‘Accueil Vélo’ label, which offer a warm welcome, suitable services and facilities, as well as advice and practical information.
Did you know? Cap d’Agde is the finishing point of the Grande Traversée du Massif Central (GTMC).
