Le Musée de l'Ephebe

In Cap d'Agde: the Musée de l'Éphèbe et d'archéologie sous-marine. It is one of the few French museums specialising in underwater archaeology. Its centrepiece is the ‘Éphèbe d'Agde’, a Greek bronze statue recovered from the Hérault in 1964. The museum also displays amphorae, ancient artefacts, shipwrecks and treasures from both land and underwater excavations in the region. Open all year round.
